SUPPORT ACCOUNTS

A SUPPORT ACCOUNT OPERATES IN THE SAME WAY AS OTHER GLEBE INCOME ACCOUNTS EXCEPT THAT MONEY IS LODGED ON AN INTEREST-FREE BASIS. AN AMOUNT EQUAL TO THE INTEREST THAT WOULD HAVE BEEN PAID ON THE ACCOUNT WILL BE PAID INTO A GLEBE INCOME ACCOUNT OF A NOMINATED PARISH OR OTHER CHRISTIAN MINISTRY ORGANISATION.

SUPPORT ACCOUNTS

FEATURES
MINIMUM INITIAL INVESTMENT $2,000
All other features of the Support Account are equivalent to the relevant Glebe Income Account in which the monies are held.
You can have either an At-Call Premium or Fixed Term Account and have an amount equal to the interest that would have been paid to you directed to a nominated parish or other ministry organisation.

This provides a convenient and anonymous method of directly supporting specific church ministries of your choice.

Using the Support Account, you can specify the particular Anglican parish or christian ministry organisation that you wish to support directly. The nominated parish or ministry organisation will then receive an amount equal to the interest that would have been paid on the money lodged in your Support Account if it had instead been lodged in another Glebe Income Account.

If no parish or ministry organisation is specified by you, any benefit relating to your Support Account will be added to the other income of the Diocesan Endowment and subsequently used to support the work of the Anglican Church.

You may change the nominated parish or ministry organisation whenever you wish. Any change will take effect from the beginning of the current interest payment period.
