Mutual Support SchemeMutual Support Scheme (MSS) provides parishioners and other supporters with an opportunity to support the vision of Church Organisations and financially help reduce the repayments on loans granted by the Glebe Administration Board or Finance & Loans Board. With MSS, parishioners are able to link some or all of their finances held with GIA, to a Church Organisation’s loan, which in turn enables the Church Organisation to gain additional income to off-set loan balances. Through these linked deposits, parishioners can participate in project work without long-term commitment. At the same time, each parishioner will continue to have full access to their deposits and all interest earned on their accounts at the current Glebe interest rate. Traditional financial institutions may not understand your organisation’s mission activities, values or vision. At Glebe Income Accounts, we believe that the needs of each Church Organisation are unique. How does Mutual Support Scheme work?
GIA will provide a monthly notification to the Church Organisation advising the total "depositor" benefit paid towards the Church Organisation's loan. A notification is sent to supporters for total “depositor” benefit payments of $5 and over. MSS is a great way to support mission activities and to finance ministries. Naturally, the more parishioners on board with MSS, the greater the financial benefits will be for Church Organisations. How to apply?• New supporters need to open a Glebe Income Account and request for this to be • For existing customers, all that is needed is the completion of a Mutual Support Scheme Form or a letter requesting to link existing Glebe Income Accounts to For further assistance please feel free to contact Glebe Income Accounts.
